A Shared Horizon investigates the relationships among territory, landscape, and matter through experimental analog photographic processes developed in areas of Minas Gerais shaped by mining activity. Viewed through the lens of the Anthropocene, the landscape is defined by its own traces, remnants, and ruins. The series begins with these marks, capturing images within conservation areas; the negatives are subsequently submerged in organic matter from an abandoned mine, where they undergo decomposition, allowing the landscape itself to transform the images that represent it.
35mm film, soil samples.
