About
Daura Campos is a visual artist and photographer based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Through experimental and historical photographic techniques, her work investigates the dynamics of perception, interpretation, and memory within contemporary visual culture.
She has exhibited at Cluster London, London, United Kingdom (2025); CICA Museum, Gimpo-si, South Korea (2024); Rotterdam Photo, Rotterdam, the Netherlands (2024); MK Gallery, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom (2024); Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich, Germany (2023); Museo de Arte de Pereira, Pereira, Colombia (2022); Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool, United Kingdom (2022); Gallery TPW, Toronto, Canada (2022); and Gallery 44, Toronto, Canada (2022).
Her work has been recognized by several awards, including the Official Selection of the International Photography Awards (2024 and 2025) and the Analog Sparks Awards, where she received 1st place in the Fine Art/Experimental category (2025) and 2nd place in the Technical category (2024).
A graduate in Film and Media Studies from PUC Minas, she also develops her practice as an art educator, leading short courses and workshops, both in-person and online, across Brazil and internationally.
